Dawmouse had its Easter concert. Nat and his school mates sang 'Wind the Bobbin Up,' 'Sleeping Bunnies,' and 'The Train Song' among other British nursery song classics. Plus they all wore very cute bunny ears.

Our first costume for school .. Dawmouse had international day and the kids could come in dressed up to represent their country .. I fashioned this out of some cheap clothing, construction paper and party hat. Nat had to be bribed with chocolate to wear the hat. I think it was Dawmouse's first ever Pilgrim ... I am keeping it real for America.

Here's Henry getting his first taste of real food .. I mean baby rice. We started him about two and half weeks ago and we are starting to work our way through the repertoire of baby food tastes .. pears, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples, butternut squash. He has taken to it pretty well. But I can see the downfall of dinner with two kids .. suddenly Nat has a great audience for all his antics. Mommy might keep a straight face when he spits out his food but Henry laughs hysterically.

Henry has complete control of his hands and arms now .. making him very dangerous when he's on your lap at the kitchen table. And he rolled over for the first time on Sunday .. I think he actually ended up startling himself when he managed to flip himself from his stomach to his back with a big thunk of his head.

Blankie has had a marked decline in popularity .. for the first two months after Henry was born it was in his mouth 24 hours a day ... now we sometimes head up to bed to find Blankie still left in the sheets from the night before. But he has started chewing on his fingers now .. his nursery school teacher says its picked up from some of other children in the school .. not that I can say anything considering my own thumb sucking history.

Yes that is a potty you see in the corner .. yes we are in month three of potty training and we still haven't truly mastered the whole thing .. we go three days with no accidents followed by two days where we never make it to the potty and sometimes there isn't even an attempt to make it.

Nat really loved the aquarium .. we found the tank filled with various "Nemo" fish and he decided that's where he could stay for the rest of our visit.

Nat actually requests that Henry come lie down with him in his bed .. this of course was before we moved Henry into Nat's room. The night before we did that Nat explained to me that there just wasn't enough room for Henry in his room. The move went down this weekend and so far its going okay. Its just trying to get them both quiet so one doesn't keep the other from drifting off to sleep.

Here's Nat on his first day at Dawmouse Montessori Nursery School.. he has no idea what is going on. He took to it pretty well .. the tears didn't start up until the third week. But since half term break he's been loving school ... he's doing art projects and hangs with a crew of long haired little girls .. He and his buddy Ellie like to romp through flower beds, chase each other and make cool noises with their mouths.

Mom had the privilege of giving Henry his first bottle. He took but of course decided for a nice breast feed as soon as I walked back in the room on top of the bottle feed.
