Nat has jokes now ... mostly they seem to involve hiding and running away from Mommy and throwing various food substances around .. and the coolest things is he is trying to say his own name. As I am posting this he is clapping at the picture of himself and making a Nat like sound.

It meant a lot to us to have mom there for the christening. And Nat had a great visit with Granny .. we can't wait to get her out here again.

This is Nat actually being christened. I decided in the midst of his ceremony that the next child would get baptised by three months old or not at all. While Nathaniel looked pretty dapper, he did not want to sit still for his christening at all. He just wanted to play with all his buddies and run around the church.

When we got back from the States after Christmas we all had real jetlag problems. This is from New Years Eve when Nat woke up at 11:30 and decided he wanted to party. We decided to let him come downstairs for a few minutes and for the next week he was demanding a midnight play session.

Nathaniel really only likes to hold Daddy's hand while walking down the street. When its just mom around he decides he is too much of a big boy to walk with anyone. I just thought he liked a kid out of the 1950s in this .. in fact I am pretty sure Uncle Martin wore a jacket like this. This is a picture of us heading off to a house viewing early one morning before Doug went to work.
