Here's the pictures from our scan last week. The baby looks really good. He is a big kicker. Due date is now set at October 28, which feels very far away.

Touring Stratford

Mom, Fiona, Nathaniel and I all went to Stratford Upon Avon for a day and night on their recent visit. Stratford was a good 20 degrees colder than London, which meant we all went out to the local H&M that morning for sweatshirts. Stratford was lovely and I did recover the camera I misplaced so it was a succesful trip. But as you can see I don't really look that pregnant, I just look fat. I think I need a big Tshirt saying baby inside.

We recently went up to a petting farm in Bucks with our neighbor Christina and her little boy and Nat's best friend, Arthur. They had lots of animals and hay bales and fields and playgrounds and some old tractors. Nat's farm boy instincts kicked in as soon as he got on that tractor. He was bouncing and steering and ready to mow some hay.....

The sheep were a source of fascination and fear. He would get right up next to them and try to feed them, until the sheep opened its mouth or stuck out its tongue. Then Nat would run away saying "No No." But thirty seconds he would be right back up next to the sheep, straw in hand.

Running in the Pool

One of Nathaniel's favorite things in our neighborhood is the paddling pool in Bishop's Park. He has no fear in the water anymore, running in and out of the sprinklers. I am far more nervous about him in the water than he is.

Nathaniel though pretty much anything Uncle Bobby did was pretty cool. Especially his guitar. He can't wait for his next visit.

Carousel of Terror

Bobby came to visit a couple of weeks ago and we all took a trip down to Brighton for a proper English seaside day. We had fish and chips, rode rides on the pier and got rained on. A very proper English summer day. Nathaniel was too small for the little kiddie rides so I took him with me on the carousel. If you look closely at Nathaniel you will see the sheer terror on his face. He found the whole thing a bit overwhelming.
