Here's Nat on his actual birthday morning. Doug went into work late and we opened up family presents in the morning. He especially enjoyed the box of treasures from Granny and Poppa which had all sorts of cool surprises, including his first Bob the Builder truck and a hat that he could wear. We followed up in the afternoon with cupcakes with his buddies at the park. Nat then had a giant flip over a railing onto a concrete walkway that gave me a heart attack and him a giant scrape across his forehead that he sported for the rest of the week. After two minutes of real screaming, Nat decided the only way to make his head feel better was to eat two more chocolate cupcakes.
